Mason Jar with Storage Lids | Staff Trial Report

Today I want to write about a popular product I’ve recently tried: a Mason jar with storage lids.

As you can see, I put the tea bags in this Mason jar, which has a screw storage lid. I threw away the original packaging because it was a resealable bag, and its airtightness deteriorated after I opened it. Also, the bag would become worn and even damaged from repeatedly opening and closing it, and it took up a lot of space in the office.

So, I really like this small, well-sealed Mason jar. Its lid has threads and can be screwed on smoothly, ensuring an airtight seal, while its mini size takes up very little space.

Actually, before I put the tea bags in, I used this Mason jar to store chili sauce that I brought back from a trip to Jiangxi. After finishing the chili sauce, I washed the jar thoroughly and then used it to store the tea bags. You’re probably wondering if storing strong-flavored chili sauce for a long time would affect the taste of the tea bags. I can give you a definite answer: after washing and drying the Mason jar and replacing the lid with a new one, there was absolutely no lingering odor, and it was just like new.

However, it’s important to note that sauces with strong colors, like chili sauce, have a certain chance of staining the inside of the lid, and the lid may also absorb odors. Therefore, it’s recommended to replace the lid along with the contents to ensure that the flavor of the stored food remains unaffected.
